2. The Netherlands reported 13 H5N1 HPAI outbreaks in wild birds and 1 in poultry

On March 9 and 13, the Netherlands reported 13 outbreaks in wild birds and 1 in poultry of H5N1 HPAI in North Brabant Province and 5 other locations, resulting in 23 wild birds found dead, 178 poultry deaths, and 22,000 culled.

3. Hungary reported 1 H5N1 HPAI outbreak in wild birds and 2 in poultry

On March 9 and 10, Hungary reported 1 outbreak in wild birds and 2 in poultry of H5N1 HPAI in Bács-Kiskun County, resulting in 2 wild birds and an unspecified number of poultry infected and dying.
